A number of club members attended this popular outdoor tournament held in Bristol over the weekend 20th-21st July.

The rain disappeared just in time to be replaced by glorious sunshine. Team Monkeys (made up of Max, Jason, Zhen, Mashka, Katy & Jana) entered into the 3rd Division. On the Saturday they played 4 games in total, winning 2 and losing 2 by small margins. That left them third in their pool after points difference. As a result they found themselves in the Shield competition. On Sunday they won both their pool games to progress to the semi-final. They won that 2-0 and progressed to the final vs York Alumni which they also WON 2-0!

As well as the Shield victory they team were awarded the Bill Daniel Award which is given to a team which epitomises the friendly and sporting spirt of the competition.
