After the success of last year’s referee & scorer training sessions the club has decided to run another 2 sessions ahead of the start of the competitive season.

All members wishing to take part in league matches will be expected to officiate at least once during the season. Once the fixtures have been made this information will be made available for all to view.

In light of this, the club will be having specific refereeing sessions ahead of our club training night on the following dates.

Monday 8th October & Monday 15th October starting at 7pm at The Ridgeway Academy.

Please can you let Jana (referee@whvc.org.uk)  know which date you’d like to attend (you can do both) and if you would like to referee or score so she can ensure that there are enough resources for everyone.

Refereeing Qualification opportunity

It is a requirement for clubs to have a qualified 1st referee for all Division 1 matches. To ensure we are able to do this the club is offering to pay for 2 members to attend a refereeing course with the costs being covered by the club and HVA.
