We are pleased to announce that the floor has finally been completed at Sir Frederic Osborn sport centre and we are now able to host both matches and junior training here again.

League fixtures

Monday saw a Wolves take on Milton Keynes in Men’s Division 1 match at SFO. It was an excellent game with Wolves playing some great volleyball but unfortunately MK took the victory 3-1.

The Hawks have continued their run of good form with recent victories over VK Southgate (3-2) and Kings Langley Chargers (3-0).

Unfortunately our Ladies teams haven’t had any games for some time due to the issues with our venue but will be looking to get back underway soon.

Intra-club matches

The Sharks will play the Wolverines at SFO this Sunday, 3.30pm and the Lions take on the Black Widows on 4th March 3.30pm. These are the last group matches before the FINAL on Monday 26th March. Good luck to you all

Olympic Volleyball competition

Lynne entered a Volleyball England competition to win a match ball used at the 2012 Olympics……AND WON!!

She has kindly donated the ball to the club to be used for matches and has asked that members wear their club tops to training on Tuesday 20th February so a press release can be sent off to Volleyball England and hopefully it will get into the VE newsletter.
