Monday night saw the climax of the intra-club competition as the Dragons took on the Hawks at SFO sports centre. The Hawks took the 1st set 25-20 after a fantastic battle between both teams. The standard of play was second to none.

Dragons came back fighting in the 2nd set winning 25-19, the same happened in the 3rd with Dragons dominating the attacks and Hawks making mistakes, Dragons won 25-14.

The 4th set was just as thrilling as both teams were playing top volleyball, the defending off hard hitting attacks on both teams was amazing. Hawks finally pulled away to win 25-18.

It all came down to the 5th set! Both teams went point for point but when the Dragons missed the opportunity to claim the win whilst on match point, the Hawks kept their cool and won the next 3 points to WIN 16-14!
