Welcome

We are a lively mixed club which welcomes players of both sexes and all abilities. Our aim is to play the best Volleyball we can in a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere. We have five teams (currently the most) in the Hertfordshire Volleyball Association League: Welwyn A play in Mens Division 1, Welwyn B play in Mens Division 2, and Welwyn Ladies (who were knockout cup finalists in the 2009/10 season) play in the Womens Division. For the first time this season, the HVA have a Mixed Division too, in which we have two teams: Welwyn Mixed A and Welwyn Mixed B. The normal league and indoor training season runs from September to May, and in the summer months we play informal games outside on Burnham Green (weather permitting).

Though we welcome Junior (under 16) players, we are predominantly an amateur adult club and do not (as yet!) have a specific Junior section. We ask that all players under 16 are accompanied at all training sessions and matches by a responsible adult (parent or guardian). Please note that the HVA run a Junior Development program on Saturdays 10.30-12.30 at Rudolf Steiner School in Kings Langley.
