As we enter this Holiday period there are a few things to update you all with…..

Yesterday was the last club training night of 2017. It was live-streamed on Facebook too! General training will begin again on Tues 9th January 2018.

The Juniors have received a funding grant from the HVA for £406 which will be used to purchase equipment to be used during their sessions. After attending the recent HVA meeting it is hoped that the juniors will have a number of opportunities to play against other junior teams in the new year. With this in mind they will be purchasing a t-shirt each that can be worn when training or playing competitively. Be sure to have a look at this weeks’ edition of the Welwyn and Hatfield times for the press release.

League Teams

It has been a mixed bag in the league this season. The Wildcats have won some and lost some and will be looking to improve their play in the remaining games. Queens Bees continue to show a great attitude in their games and are continuing to develop their collective game. The Wolves have only had 2 games with a number cancelled and are looking for a first win in Division 1. The Hawks have won all their matches so far in Division 2, the latest a 3-0 win over RSS.

Intra-club 

All 4 teams have played 2 and have one more left to claim their place in the final set for March. The Wolverines are the early form team with 2 wins but it’s all still to play for. The next match between the Sharks and Wolverines is due to take place on Saturday 27th January.
